TÜV Certified Automotive Safety ISO 26262 Engineer

Information

Our Functional Safety for Automotive Training offers a comprehensive overview of all the detailed aspects related to the functional safety development of systems, hardware, and software for the use in the automotive area. It is designed to provide participants with a thorough understanding of functional safety principles, techniques and measures. In addition to the practice oriented examples, we delve into the ISO 26262 functional safety standard, equipping attendees with the knowledge to develop safe automotive items or components.

The training lasts a total of 3 days and is held in person and virtually (hybrid).

The training includes practical exercises on most topics. After the training, you can take an online exam. Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate.

This training is tailored to benefit a wide range of professionals, from project leaders, system engineers, hardware and software developers who are involved in automotive functional safety. It is particularly important for suppliers who approach this topic for the first time or need a refresh about the latest updates based on the state of the art (ISO 26262:2018 and upcoming trends in the standard commitee).

Upon completing this training, you will gain the ability to understand the concepts related to the deployment of safety application in the automotive field. You will be well-prepared in order to design, develop or test automotive systems according to functional safety standard. You will understand the practical implication of the standard requirements (ISO 26262), applied to the context of real automotive scenarios. Additionally, you will be able to engage with assessors regarding functional safety matters.
